We’ve got an update and new requests from Marke on the Patterns Book we’re making - come work with us on it!
WRITERS: Identify a Curated Chapter in THIS ALBUM & write a Text Record that will connect the chapter’s theme to the patterns within the chapter. Please refer to THIS TEXT RECORD by The Shuttersmith as an example of how text can connect to a chapter’s theme, like the theme of “Copy Cat” in that case.
META-CURATORS: Curate what other artists have curated by by making a RecordLIKE THIS by MeTaL_PoU that outlines the way you think the Patterns book should be organized.
wirrow, your Resident Director, has provided some direction for all you ILLUSTRATORS out there:
You should check out THIS ALBUM. At the moment the stories in this album are naked and need to be clothed with illustrations.
But here’s the thing about illustrating these Tiny Stories… In many cases you don’t want to necessarily be literal. Try and add something new to the story through your illustration by giving it a new twist, or a new interpretation.
We do have less than a month before our deadline, so…. yeah. HURRY UP!
EXCITING NEWS!: Marke, our Creative Director, has some big news regarding the expansion of The Made Shop and what it means for hitRECord. You can expect all kinds of new updates to the site as well as some killer new designs! Also, please give a warm welcome to Kimberly and Adam of The Made Shop!
VIDEO EDITORS: Your Fall Formal Live Edits are coming out great. Dr. Gory, our Editor, has some direction for how we can take these foundational edits to the next level by adding more footage and turning these cuts into short films!
VISUAL ARTISTS: With our Tiny Book of Tiny Stories Vol. 2 collaboration well underway, we want to know what your favorite contributions are. Make an album of the stories and illustrations you think should go in our book and contribute your selections to the collab.
Your Resident Director wirrow has some direction for you RE: Tiny Stories Albums:
Please make albums that include a select few Tiny Stories and illustrations that you think are worthy. Album-making is extremely important in compiling the book so all of you have now been appointed ALBUM OVERLORDS!
